Thankgiving Wouldn't Be the Same Without Desserts...

God Was Always with me

Out I look,
I see it all,
and yet there's more,
to be seen.

I feel the wind against my face,
I lift my head,
flap my wings,
I fly.

Soaring, spiraling,
sailing away,
to somewhere far away,
someplace new.

I arrive here,
It's not the same,
but different,
yet somehow right.

The air not quite as sweet,
The wind not as powerful,
The sky not as blue,
I hear a whisper.

I see a familiar face up in the clouds,
I won't have to worry anymore,
I never did,
God was always with me.

"I'm Late for a Very Important Date!"

As the white rabbit once said "I'm late, I'm late, I'm late". Well, that's exactly what I am. I haven't done any blogging in over a month. I know it really doesn't matter to much, but I like suppling my readers with fresh information. The problem is I can't think of anything!!! Writer's Block. I guess about everyone's been faced with that at least once. One thing I've learned from it is to not think to hard, or you might miss a great idea that's right under your nose. Also, sometimes it's not the right time to write. As cheesy as that play on words might sound, it's true. Every great writing piece begins with an inspiration; but how can you be inspired if you are searching for an inspiration? Another thing to consider is the big picture. The message your reader's will receive. I know this is all very overwhelming, but calm down, and take it step by step. Just pray, believe it can happen, and believe me, you will achieve!

Wow! II

There has been much success from this blog, in the short amount of time I've had it. However, The Wizard of Oz was not the only inspiration for "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Journey of a Catholic Poster Girl, a blog that you can link to from mine, did and still does inspire me. I am a catholic, myself, and are always looking for ways to spread the word of God. What better way to do so then start a blog?
