Cause I'm Still Trying to Figure it Out

This song really relates to how I'm feeling tonight. It's one of my favorites, too. :)

Taylor Swift -- A Place in This World
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSTpd8iJ-vM)

I don't know what I want, so don't ask me
Cause I'm still trying to figure it out
Don't know what's down this road, I'm just walking
Trying to see through the rain coming down
Even though I'm not the only one
Who feels the way I do

[Chorus:]

I'm alone, on my own, and that's all I know
I'll be strong, I'll be wrong, oh but life goes on
I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in
This world

Got the radio on, my old blue jeans
And I'm wearing my heart on my sleeve
Feeling lucky today, got the sunshine
Could you tell me what more do I need
And tomorrow's just a mystery, oh yeah
But that's ok

[Repeat Chorus]

Maybe I'm just a girl on a mission
But I'm ready to fly

[Repeat Chorus]

Lost and Found

Song by: Alyson Stoner
I found these lyrics by accident. It just felt right.

( Note: To the left of the post you'll see a video bar. The first video option was one of my references. There are a few spelling errors, but as far as timing and such it's not bad. It has a purple background with yellow text. If you would like, you can try playing the video and singing along! If for some reason you do not see this option, try hitting the refresh button one or two times; it located towards the top of the screen.)

^^As you may have noticed the sidebar is no longer a part of my blog. It used up too much space and it was often difficult to find the specific video I described above.

This is my world
four walls and a view
I stare at the ceiling

Chasing these feelings

around in my head

I'm so confused

constantly wishing
for what I've been missing

in my life

I learn to be strong

when the walls are crumbling

all around my heart

You might say I feel lost and found
You might say I'm all turned around

this is the first time that I know who I am

Cause now my feet are on solid ground
before I didn't know up from down

It won't be long to find
where I'm goin' now

I must confess
I was a mess
I tried not to show it

didn't want them to know it

Cause everyone has
their own cross to bear

and mine is still waiting

for everything to

fall back into place

But I learned to be strong

When the rain is falling

all around my heart

You might say I feel lost and found

You might say I'm all turned around

this is the first
time that I know who I am
Cause now my feet are on solid ground

before I didn't know up from down

Thanks to love, I know where I'm going now

You might say I feel lost and found

You might say I'm all turned around

this is the first time that I know who I am
Cause now my feet are on solid ground

before I didn't know up from down

It won't be long to find
where I'm goin' now

Don't look back

Learn from the past

Livin' for now is what keeps me going

don't look back but hold the memories

I can do this

I must do this

This is my world

A much better view

I feel myself growing
without even knowing

what lies ahead

(what lies ahead)

but who really knows

I'll just embrace it

with love, I can face it

You might say I feel lost and found

You might say I'm all turned around

this is the first time that I know who I am

Cause now my feet are on solid ground

before I didn't know up from down
Thanks to love, I know where I'm going now

You might say I feel lost and found

You might say I'm all turned around
this is the first time that I know who I am

Cause now my feet are on solid ground
before I didn't know up from down

Thanks to love, I know where I'm going now

I know where I'm going now

I know where I'm going now

Fortune Cookie of the Day

I know I haven't written in a while. My summer has been rather hectic. But a few days ago my family ate at a Chinese restaurant for lunch. My fortune cookie wrapper read:

"sOmE pEoPlE jUsT hAvE iDeAs. gO dO iT."

Sometimes I marvel at how God communicates to his children.

Have Faith

It's been a while since my last post, but I have to say I've been pretty busy in the past few months (dancing, acting, singing, art) and I haven't had any time to write! I have learned a whole lot more about writing though. In fact, the more I learn about different tools and techniques the more I am able to enhance my own leisure writing.

Today's Topic: Faith
Faith means the ability to trust and believe in something with your whole heart. Read the below acrostic poem to learn more about faith.

Free from worry
A life-changing promise
I have faith in you is a common saying using this word
Truth and love are the building blocks
Hate is never present
